The FOUNDATION SERIES by Shadow Systems developed out of conversations between old-school gun guys, the type who aren’t fussy about aesthetics and want only the essential features. Built on the same frames as all Shadow Systems pistols, the FOUNDATION SERIES touts sleek ergonomics, real-world shootability, and bet-your-life reliability. The XR920 is a crossover pistol with a full size frame and a compact top end with capacity for 17+1. This model fits holsters designed for the Gen4 G19 or G19X.
FOUNDATION SERIES Core Features:
- FRAME – Built on the same world-class frame as all Shadow Systems Pistols. Optimized wrap-around texture gives supreme control during rapid fire without wearing uncomfortably against the body when concealed. Featuring three interchangeable backstraps that change not the size of the grip but the angle of the bore, the Shadow Systems frame can be tailored to the shooter’s natural point of aim.
- SLIDE – The nitrided slide with pocket-cut serrations comes equipped with the patented Shadow Systems multi-footprint optic cut, allowing for a direct mount of most major optic brands with the lonest and strongest screws in the industry. Steel sights with a plain black serrated rear and white dot front afford a lower 1/3 cowitness with most optics.
- BARREL – The match grade, smooth-finish, unthreaded nitride barrel is rated for +P ammo and is conventionally rifled.
- TRIGGER & INTERNALS – Internals include a carbon steel guide rod and a drop-safe, polymer trigger. The trigger has a 4.5-5.0 point trigger pull and a crisp, tactile reset.
